I don’t think you’ll ever actually understand what it’s like to care for someone. The way you build someone up to shut them out. The way you treat someone who’s been Nothing but good to you. I keep on thinking something has got to be wrong with me. That maybe I’m not good enough, and Maybe I’ll never be. I don’t think you know how that feels. I don’t think you have any idea what it feels like to be constantly cheated on, and left. To be mistreated in every relationship. To have someone feed you lies, and then pull the rug out from under you so fast. I don’t think you know what it’s like to be true and kind. To never feel hate or resentment. And to not be able to hold a grudge. Because unlike you, I can’t just pretend like everything that has happened to me didn’t happen.
